dyt397c Posted December 30, 2008 Report Posted December 30, 2008 i`ve got the chance to go semi-professional at darts next year and need to sell the Anglia to part fund it. a brief spec is:- 1965 105e super. all fibreglass panels. capri f/legs with discs and 2" lowered springs. brand new 9" ford axle with 31 spline Strange shafts(unbreakable) spool and 4.56:1 gears and fabricated case(lightweight) 5 linked with rose joints and fully adjustable. fully adjustable Leda shocks. ali wheeltubs. 2 bucket seats and harnesses and carpeted. the axle set up cost £2200(£500 just on rose joints!!) from Jon Webster. it was being built for drag racing but still road legal aswell. i`ve also got a 2litre pinto with +1.5mm pistons(2060cc) and HR270 cam and a 202 block pinto that i was going to supercharge and a 4 speed box and modded sump. also got a set of GSXR600 bike carbs but no manifold. i would sell the engines seperate but wont break the car. any ideas on prices for anything would be greatly appreciated. i really dont want to sell but i could pack in work and play darts fulltime eventually so it`ll never get finished. heres a few pics aswell. thanks in advance, Deano.(ps feel free to move it if its in the wrong section )
JAY PS Posted December 30, 2008 Report Posted December 30, 2008 Really its what someone will pay for it ,the classic market is starting to feel the pinch ,lots of half finished projects out there and some desperate owners wanting hard cash . Advertise it at a price you would be happy with and then haggle .
J_mk1 Posted December 30, 2008 Report Posted December 30, 2008 i think if it were mine id put it up for 3700 just a guess though and i dont really know anglias that well so dont take it too seriously lol
Slammed Posted December 30, 2008 Report Posted December 30, 2008 due to the crunch happening it may be hard to shift mate, as the market for that typ of anglia is really limited, i would say 2600 pushing it
petrolhead Posted December 30, 2008 Report Posted December 30, 2008 I would say £2k realistically and you may have trouble shifting it at that, despite the cost of the parts.
dyt397c Posted December 31, 2008 Author Report Posted December 31, 2008 cheers for the replys. i`d be happy with £1700 so will advertise it for that. i think!! (dont really want to sell!! )
JAY PS Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 EBAY IT ! you should get more than that !
tom28 Posted January 1, 2009 Report Posted January 1, 2009 ebay it mate, osf's go for silly money on there!
