Came up with; Engine is now 2Litre, registered as a 1600xl Was green now red Why have you got black number plates Etc ETC All the changes are declared on the logbook and with the insurance company so why bl**dy ask me?? And as for black numberplates - where do I start - the car id a G reg!!!!! Missed the absolutely obvious with my VIN plate number - I have 2 VIN numbers, one registerd bt Ford as a development car, and one registered by Ford as a pre-production model. Both are legal as the DVLA have cleared the car when I first noticed it when I first bought the car.

herb capri Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 i cant complain our police pulled me over in a xpacked mk1 xr2 and looked it over ,said ok no probs ,[had all docs] then ,nex day again another copper same story .then third day cop pulls my mate in it and says you arent the driver i saw the other day,gives him a producer, my mates pissed off and me? i was chuffed,any cop who is that observant im happy to have arround, and i can understand mot/build oddities as i looked over my mates austin wyvern.........odd chassis and i was lost!holes gaps all std and legal, i would have welded half of it up! so next time mate dont get upset give him a lesson on old skool fords till he gets so bored he'll go without hassle and next time he knows what hes lookin at
emu Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 ive been caught drifting loads of times now and been let off for it i just thought this time was a little silly just cos he could'nt shut the bloody door. So look at this little trip to the police station as your punishment for all the times you have been let off when you have been caught doing something you shouldnt have been. Old ford escorts driven by us young 'uns tend to stand out, perhaps your starting to get a reputation down the station, if you keep getting caught messing about, then it might be a good idea to find another industrial estate

(jst a joke).. true thoo i spoke to me mate that lives round the corner about it and he rang the cops cos some old lady was getting shi* from some youth's and he had to wait 45 mins for the cops to come from the next nearest copshop, and why? bcos the cop's wernt bloody there at thee local station!!! i mean 45 mins, she cud av been dead for christs sake!

Imagine your doing your job, you make something, or sell a tv or hi-fi ... and it come back for no reason at all , or you've spent months building a car then you sell it and the new owner banger races it ... Thats what the coppers on the street get, they nick some scroat for carrying a knife .. and the CPS throw it out, hes got a knife on him, (max 4 years i belive) and hes let off with a caution ... the local car thief leads them over fields, through estates, smashes countless cars in the process and finally they nick him, he spits at them, calls them k, nuts, and what does he get .. 4 months suspended, a month ban and 200 quid fine which he cant pay as hes on the dole, so he sits in a cell for 2 hours to pay the fine ... yep £100 per hour that theif is on... Dectectives spend months putting a case together on a rapist, and the courts give hin 6 months psyhicatric (sp) treatment to re-habolitate him... Imagine doing that job, no one thanks you, people shout abuse at you, and when you do a good job, some goverment agency turn your hard work into nothing, because they hand out pathetic sentences because the prisons are over-crowded .. why are they? simple answer..because the sentences are too lax. .. bang a car thief up for 10 years.. i bet car crime will drop.. get the criminals thinking ' if i nick this car and get caught i'll do 10 years ' instead of ' well if i get caught i'll get a caution ' Rapists, murdererers and peodophiles should have the death sentance.. all other crimes should carry a minimum of 5 years, and 3 strikes and your out should be bought in .. commit 2 crimes, and you have served a minimum of 10 years, do another and your hanging... the only ones that would do that 3rd crime are the useless wastes of space that dont derserve to be in society .. as for prisons, they would empty.. as most small crooks would be thinking twice about shoplifting a 50 quid jacket if they thought they could do 5 years for it .. I read somewhere ages ago that (from memory) 10% of prisoners have commited 10 or more crimes.. so that would be 10% more space straight away.. and 50% have commited 3 crimes or more ..see, that the prison population halved.. so theres now room for the 5 years minimum sentancing None of us are angels.. but just ask yourself, if you have 2 black marks against you, would you do another crime? Sorry, bit of an early sunday morning rant there..
