It's obvious that it's fake, that's the point. The audience will be thinking that the fake stop is the punchline of the film and be surprised by the smack at the end.

But i think the sick adverts where it shows them get thrown into the wind screen are better to show the point. Even though they not nice to watch!, it shows what happens and it can be nasty if you don't wear a belt.
