5hane Posted January 23, 2009 Report Posted January 23, 2009 2 of my mates have just been mugged on 2 seperate occasions 15-20 mins form each other one was walking a girl home (they didnt want to walk alone) and was hit a few times (dont know exactly.. happened about a hour ago) and has ither broke his nose, or hit it bad, and cant see out one eye. hes a big lad, and will fight back. but it was 4 hooded people wearing scaf's.. he had no chance. he phone was stolen... the 2nd boy is absoloute HARMLESS, he litratly wouldnt hurt a fly. a really nice guy. he was hit a bit and his phone stolen. im sure by the same people.. what a heartless, inhumane thing? beating two people up for £20-£40 worth of phone? how come these people dont just get smited? bang. and the dirt is gone (trying to make light of the situation.. i feel shit ) seriously though.. why bother ? you really have to be a sad lowlife to beat some one up just randomly for £20. whats the world coming to ? gawd.. just think of it in the next 20 years. it will be like the getto of LA etc.. proably worse. o joy.

mk1mexico Posted January 23, 2009 Report Posted January 23, 2009 Bad shit mate I maybe foolishly thinking we dont see as much as this ooop north, but i must admit, i was walking through a local park the other morning (circa 645am) on my way to work in the dark, and i approached a hooded character with a scarf round his mouth, and i aint afraid to say i shat myself, and im a big lad. fair play he walked past, might have been cold, but hey ho i was watching my shoulder all the way to work. Hope everyone is ok, phones can be replaced.

My girlfriend always rings me when she is on her own when walking home at night no matter how drunk she is. Once when she was walking home from a club some guy said somthing horible to her and she just ran as fast as she could. I couldn't beleive it my self. There is some sick people in the world stealing, rapeing, etc...

Not everyone wearing a hoody is a shithead. I wear one often. Unfortunately these days though, you have to tar everyone with the same stick. The so called 'specialists' who pretend to know all about this stuff, except an answer to stopping it, or actually anything else about people and violence, call it 'recreational violence'. The kids are bored so to busy themselfes they go on the rob. Theres no personal gain, just something to do in the same way some kids play footie. Its a pretty sad situation to be in really.

Its the way they look at you and quite often block the path forcing you into the road. They say they can look after them self but if some big blokey came up to her she would have no chance. Shes not exatly big (although she has a big hand bag full of sh**e ) and its not like it would never happen, cos it would.

Trevmk3 Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 hope your mates are ok bud some people are just arseholes that have nothing better to do with their time. when i was fifteen (not so long back ) we never had anything to do as im from a small town miles from the cities but we never did anything like that, we would probably go and amuse ourselves by getting drunk in a field or something i bloody hate chavs and usually if there is a group of them walking towards me and my mates we just keep walking and let them try and barge past, it aint happening its the same here with some of the girls though Dan they just think they are safe

It dosen't matter how physically big you are, chav with weapons will still take a pop at you if they are armed. It gives them security.

Blame God, the Government or who-ever you feel but the truth is it's parenting and lack of faciliteis for constructive entertainment. I feel for your mates - the attackers are fookin sad twats. They should have real justice served on them. Make them contribute to the country for a year, picking up litter or whatever. All their Saturdays for a year - they wouldn't do it again!!
