72mk1escort Posted January 25, 2009 Report Posted January 25, 2009 I already have a weber 32DGV fitted to my mk1 escort which has a manual choke as standard and i just wondered if it is possible to fit the manual choke set up from that onto my 32/36 1600 mexico carb which has the auto choke fitted as standard?? Has anyone done this and is it difficult to do? If not do i need to buy a kit to do it or is there another way around it? Any help would be greatly appreciated as i am stuck at the moment. Cheers Guys

Conor Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 What is wrong with leaving it as auto choke?
72mk1escort Posted January 28, 2009 Author Report Posted January 28, 2009 What is wrong with leaving it as auto choke? They never work
antz Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 why not just use your existing manual choke? its the same carb except its either auto or manual. dont create work for yourself by fitting kits. just buy a manual choke one!
72mk1escort Posted January 28, 2009 Author Report Posted January 28, 2009 Most people dont think you can swap it over antz and no one seems to have done it yet????
