I already have a weber 32DGV fitted to my mk1 escort which has a manual choke as standard and i just wondered if it is possible to fit the manual choke set up from that onto my 32/36 1600 mexico carb which has the auto choke fitted as standard??

Has anyone done this and is it difficult to do? If not do i need to buy a kit to do it or is there another way around it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as i am stuck at the moment.

Cheers Guys

Hi mate, the carb on my car is a MKII RS2000 32/36 Weber Carb converted to manual choke. I'll ask my mate who did the conversion how it was done. I'll take some pics too if it helps?

why not just use your existing manual choke?

its the same carb except its either auto or manual.

dont create work for yourself by fitting kits. just buy a manual choke one!
