danny69 Posted January 30, 2009 Report Posted January 30, 2009 How do I remove the breather on at Atlas axle? I have just got hold of an LSD axle but it is missing the breather, so I need to nick it off my other one. I am guessing it will just prize out but as I need to reuse it any tips to avoid damage would be appreciated. Anyone know if they are available new still?
kevmk2 Posted January 30, 2009 Report Posted January 30, 2009 Just weld a bit of tubing on the axle and run a bit of breather pipe from it.
danny69 Posted January 30, 2009 Author Report Posted January 30, 2009 Thanks for the reply But I just wanted to reuse the standard one. While welding or brazing a tube ob might be an idea if all else fails I just want to keep it simple.
