Only coz the minute i mentiond i'd remvoed rear seats my last insurance company put the phone down!
bigdaz27 Posted February 1, 2009 Report Posted February 1, 2009 mine has a 2.1 pinto stage 3 head fr33 cam 5 speed box bias brakes ajustable shocks plus loads of other stufe i asked them about roll cage and twin 45s and they said i could add this and wouldnt put the price up much

I told them everything i.e 2.3 Duratec, 6 speed box, uprated brakes, axle, steering, suspension, removed rear seats, rear cage and arches. Fully Comp with a couple of SP30's, NO NO CLAIMS discount due to this being on my trade policy AND even got the misses insured on it although i will NEVER let her drive it. Agreed mileage of 3000 per year. £217 FULLY COMP!!!!!!

I declared everything, St170 engine 45 carbs, weber ignition ecu, spax, wheels,tyres,lowering,5 speed, mex bodywork inc wings, LSD,seats harnesses wilwoods etc 225 quid fully comp agreed value, like for like replacement Im 25 with 6 years NCB

hotrodholty Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 i used performance direct, mk1 escort, engine changed to 1600, uprated brakes, suspesion, alloy's, exhuast ect, no cage though, unlimitied milage, parked in a lock up away from my house, in liverpool, im 26 and at the time had no points and it was about £480, no no claims either

mk2 stu Posted February 8, 2009 Author Report Posted February 8, 2009 Ok Adrian flux called back , a very nice girl spent ages and got me, fully comp, agreed value after i send pics and they have an assesor look at it, 3rd party on any other car, european cover and roadside assist for £420. Still think theres a better deal out there.
