Right then... im hiding behind my hands as i type this...

i know there are a few out there that said id never finish it and i always said i would... and its not from lack of dedication that its not going to happen. Realistically, for how i want this capri to be, the money i need to spend to get it there i can go out and buy this

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cars-Tru ... 240%3A1318

which i want a lot lot more. When i started the project i had i wedge of inheritance money and no way i could get insurace on the nova so it was out of the question, its simply the amount of time its going to take and what cooler car i could have bought with the money. Pluss, if i spen £15k on a capir.. its still a capri and not going to be worth more the £5k max.... if that

so...

if anyone is SERIOUSLY interested in a monster capri project PM me, i havnt put it in the for sale room as i can put a price on it, its not like you can come pick it up next week... there are bits all over the country so it's going to take me a while to get it all togerther.

info on the car???......

1971 Mk1 Capri, bronze, was a 1300 but i blew that up, the car had only done 45k miles, all MOTs from new, all recipts from new including a recipt for the 68 capri they traded in to buy this one. All welding has been done on the inner wings and floor area. all interior still prestant and in good condition

New bits for the car

New wings (not fitted), new boot lid, new sills (fitted) new rear arches (not fitted), spare door (it was cheap) new door cards from aldridge to match brow interior, new GAZ front coilovers and rear dampers, Mint rear chrome hockey stick trim, new glass seals (unfitted, glass still in car), front RS chin spoiler (not original RS), Richard grant spoiler, new brown carpet, N.O.S whole headlight assembly (rare!)

I had the stock rear axle converted to 5-stud along with a pair of 9inch drums to fit american wheels and also have some 5 stud hubs to fit the front, the half shafts obviously cant be changed back... that is the only modification on the car that changes the originality from the car, no work to fit the V8 was ever done so the bulkhead and tunnel are all stock.

i also binned the front half of the wiring loom as i bought a mk3 front loom to fit. also got a 2.8 anti roll bar that was to fit

there will be loads more bits to add to this lot as iv been buying bits hear and there for 2 years now...

the car at the minuit is totally stripped down... nothing inside, no doors, no wings attatched but all bits are presant

So if your serious PM me :(
