Jeff HPE Motorsport Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 Hello Mate. Yes I do have that mag, the mk1 was Andy`s, the 2 mk2s were my Dads & my brother Martins. From Left to right in the picture Andy, Dad, brother Martin, & Me looking like wolverin. In 1976 I was 21 Andy was 20 me brother Martin was 18 & me Dad was 41 & to put it into perspective my Dad is nearly 75 I was 54 the other week, Andy is nearly 53 & Martin was 50 just recently ! As mentioned in my Pm I had at the time a real nice MK2 Consul 375 with a stonking 3.0 essex v6 manual which myself & me Dad built for someone else & then decided to put it into the Consul for a big show that we were attending run by the South London custom car club.. I was building my Mk1 Zephyr/Zodiac which had a chrome Jag rear end a Mustang 289 v8 the paintwork was candy red over silver but the most distinctive thing that most people from that era remember was the mural of the Hulk under the Bonnet & the name I called the car Quick Tempered, some use to say like the owner !! I actually have another custom car Mag with my Z car in it, when I have the time I will post it on here !! Those were the days Jeff Harris..
