Hi People,

I recently purhcased Johhny_h mk1 monza blue mexico.

Since only purchasing last week, I have stripped the gearbox and rear diff for re-conditioning , the engine is going to be removed so I can address the engine bay and get it welded and re-painted.

I have lots of plans for the mex as below:

Total respay inside and out in the monza blue colour, including any welding that needs doing

Complete re-trimn of interior with some custom bits added.

All the chrome bumpers, front grill & mirrors etc removed and re-chromed

New window rubbers all round.

Long term project which will be done in stages.

Hello mate, you made it then

Welcome to the site, I know you'll do a good job on the mex judging from your VW.

PS, I wouldn't think the rear bumper needs doing as it is a NOS one only taken out of the protective hessian about 5 months ago. :P That cost me 150 quid alone. The quarter bumpers are original tho.

Check out this link for a bit of history mate....
