caprinerd Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 sitting in a hospital waiting for son to come out of surgery and it gets to the point where your picking up anything to read i picked up a mag called "CANDIS" just flicking through and found this 1.if you go to new york dont throw your self of a tall building as it illegal and the penalty in death 2. if your wondering around the houses of parliment and feel ill get out quick as it is illegalm to die in there the reason for this is if you die in there then you have to have a state funeral so a law was placed to make it illegal to stop this 3.in Pennsylvania it is illegal for a man to buy alcohol with out a written note from his wife 4.in the 17th century a law was passed making it illegal to eat mince pies on xmas day as it was seen as the worse form of gluttony 5. in the uk every male over the age of 14 must practice longbow for 2 hours a day 6.in Massachusetts its illegal for mourners to eat any more than 3 sandwiches at a wake 7. in Indiana its still illegal to have a bath between the months of October and March 8. its still law to kill a Scottsman with in the york city walls if he is carrying a bow and arrow 9. in Isreal its illegal to take a grizzly bear on the beach 10. in Canada its illegal to buy something for 50 cent and pay for it with pennies 11. in liverpool a doris cannot walk around toppless unless she is a sales assistant working in a tropical fish store 12.in France its illegal and you will face haveing your head chopped off, if you name you pig Napoleon 13. there is a law in the uk that a pregnant doris may use a policemans helmet tohave a piss and he cant refuse 14. to put a stamp on an envelope upside down is seen as treason in the uk 15. men in Newjersey are banned from knitting during fishing season 16. in Alabama its illegalto wear a fake tash to church but only if it makes people laugh 17. in the uk if a member or the marine life is washed up on a beach then the head belongs to the king and the tail would belong to the queen 18. work this one out if you an ...... in the uk it is illegal not to tell the taxman anything you dont want him to know but you dont have to tell him every thing you want him to know 19. its not legal for a swiss person tohang washing out on a sunday 20. in Australia you must get a qualified electrician to change a blown bulb in your house 21. in Scotland if a random stranger knocks on your door and wants to use your lav then you have to let them by law 22. it is still illegal for a doris in the uk to eat chocolate on public transport 23. in the city of London it illegal for a cab to carry a dead rabid dog or human 24. its stilllaw for the constable of the tower of london to claim his entitlement to a barrel of rum every time a royal navel ship enters the port of london and 25. in Ohio its illegal to get a fish drunk

Achieved the longest period of economic expansion 3.Unemployment fell to the lowest since 1970's 4. He created the fiscal prudence which ddnt allow for the goverment to borrow over 3% of the current GDP 5.Kept inflation on target 6. Also avoided joining the EURO when eurozone went into recession so i think ppl should just lay off and stop blaming him for blair an darlings fook ups

The economy was on the up when they took over 10 years ago, and equally unemployment was on the way down. Strangely enough, the last winter of discontent was a labour creation too.
