Can't see vids

This is not just on OSF. I am having trouble seeing youtube vids. I could watch the embedded onee, but not any in links. Anybody know why? Also i can't see the slideshow on my website. I re installed flash, but it hasn't helped. I am on Firefox.

 

Edit - just tried IE and it's fine, so anybody know what could have gone wrong with firefox? I haven't seen the annoying ads on free sites and forums for ages, but used to be able to see youtube and my slide show on my own website

you might have installed flash while firefox was running....

 

uninstall flash, uninstall firefox,

download latest firefox from http://www.mozilla.org/firefox

download latest flash from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

 

let us know how you get on. sounds like a flash issue but remove and upgrade firefox, it might be an ancient version??

firefox updated itself last time I logged on (so the message said) and flash won't install if Firefox is running, I had to shut it down to do it. I will have another go though. In the meantime I can see everything with IE, but I much prefer firefox.
