Its back in one piece and goes now - so I feel better about the whole thing The car is a 4 door mk2 escort, its white (final colour to be decided), with a black ghia interior, its running a 1600 xflow with a twin choke, mild cam and a plus 30 rebore (crank re-done, all checked etc). I was hoping for anything over 90 bhp when it was set up, so 119 was a nice surprise. Sits on a set of skinny wolfrace slots at the moment. Still need to get a set of wheels refurbished - thinking skinny slots on the front, wider on the back, the rear seat squab is to go in and then its MOT time - within the next 7 days I hope. I'm not far from Scotch Corner, so I'll keep an eye out for the next meet there.

The work done is all under the skin really - more go than show - but I'll sort some picks out and put them up. Oh, I've just seen my costs list - including the purchase price she stands me at about 1500. so that made me smile too
