A bit off topic I know but when we drove to Malta last summer we stopped at some of the nicest motorway service stations/eating places in Austria ... they were like top class restaurants - the food was absolutely delicious (except Darren put sugar on his food instead of salt but that's another story  ) and the staff were so friendly and helpful

As for London to Oxford ... motorway cafe's are not really that good - you would need to travel off the motorway a bit I reckon to find something that does not serve mass produced plastic food. You could have a look here (assuming you will be using the main M40):

i can stand some of the crap they serve at little chef when im in need of something to keep me going :lol:

your best bet is to search for a good pub just off a motorway junction

think they were going to give the new menu 3 months or something to see how well it was recieved by customers and take it from there, but i wouldnt be suprised if they didnt as the owner sempt like a bit of a dick.

leaving myself open to be proved wrong on that one though :lol::lol:

So is it just me or is Little Chef gross? You guys know any good places on the way to Oxford from London?

Only if you take the A41 instead of the M40
