drawing cars on a computer

Im currently doing a workplacement, and am learning how to draw cars with 3d Studio Max i was just wondering if anyone here is familier with this software, and know of any good tutorial sites for detailing?

I'm not familiar with it, but I found a thread on Turbosport the other week started by Dave, and that had a few links to other sites.

At work ive been doing some tutorials on drawing up and rendering cars,

This is my first attempt. its not finshed yet and im have issues with the glass settings and theres still loads of bits to add. but i thought i would show you lot.

The reference images i used was of a hugo/lada thing but ive added big arches, and bumpers to make it look a bit better.

i need some reference images of my fiesta because its got to be done next

Ive yet to do your tutorial dave, on creating lenses with a bit map. that looks well impressive

Ive made a start already, and drew up some alley cats thought id see how they look on a KA already on works server.

They look great. I used to mess around with a ray tracing package when I had my Amiga many years ago. Didn't manage to design anything of my own though.

We use Vray at work, and it so amazing what can be achieved
