Aw what colour are those eyes!

there blue green ish fred

In the pic they look almost violet, must be a reflection. She is gorgeous though! As for them getting along, what's not to like? He's a boy and she's a girly  . Seriously though expect her to take over between the two of them!

One of our lurchers was tied up in a field with his brother. One of the Jack Russells had 2 broken legs at 6 months. WTF? I know it was a cruelty case too, as we have never been allowed to see her records, yet we were told by our vet to get the records from the previous vet for the other JRT, who was just signed over to Battersea cos they couldn't keep him.

Then theres Magic who was a breeding dog but due to complications with her second litter the owner had her done but then couldn't keep her. Shes got a bad paw at the mo and she won't stop trying to bite it!

And lastly here's Milly (short for Millington). We got her from my neighbour who works for the RSPCA. She was found in a ditch near luton, covered with cuts and scars, a fractured skull and it was all touch and go for the first couple of weeks. You can see the scar right on her noggin

has Millie got any lasting brain problems? Our dog trainer's cocker spaniel has brain damage, he can be fine for weeks then suddenly goes off on one and can attack puppies. He was used as a football then hung off a washing line and has scar tissue on his brain. He is now permanently on a daily dose of fenal barbitone that would knock out a normal average sized bloke.

i rescued our jack russel from the pikeys, when he wondered over into work one day, he was afraid to be stroked at first so i assume they had been beating him and it also took about 3 baths to get him the right colour, he's never whined since we've had him and he's our golden labs best mate so i guess he's happy :D:thumbsup:

people are often amazed when they here i nicked him of the diddi's but i always say they nick everything else so alls fair :ykt:

Dogs deserve better people

How very true

I once read a quote about dogs that is along the lines of...

There is no other creature on earth that loves you more than its self

Says it all really yet dogs seem to suffer some of the worst treatment mainly at the hands of those it trusts and loves.

Heres Hank (or moppy) who we rescued at 18 months old from a doris who kept him shut in a single room with 4 other dogs he was as round as he was long due to lack of exercise and his coat was so matted we had to cut it all off. It also took us nearly 2 years to stop cowering down and wetting himself if anyone got near him but was one of the most docile dogs ive ever met we had him put to sleep a few years ago aged 13  but thanks to him were now on our 4th American cocker

Good work Posse

We've had our rescue cat for 6 weeks now, she's as nutty as a monkey's pooh.....

We'd love a dog, but with our flat and lifestyle it would be unfair right now...

haha, yeah they are, hehe, i think she was just heading onto the sofa for a nap, the nap infront of the fire made her sleepy

Well Millie does seem a little touched, she crashes into everything and falls off stuff quite alot, I think it can mostly be put down to her being still quite young
