quickrack Posted December 13, 2006 Report Posted December 13, 2006 That MK11 on 5spoke Rovos looks fantastic!
105Nick Posted December 14, 2006 Report Posted December 14, 2006 Funny how things change isn't it; max power featuring mk2 escorts and ive got old copies of street machine that advertise wide arch body kits for mk3 escorts and cossie whale tails not to mention window louvres sure they'd love to be reminded of that now that its changed to american car world
you'll get 10s on that Posted December 14, 2006 Report Posted December 14, 2006 as I said elsewhere...the wheel choise for the Modena car was based on the width of the running gear and the width of the car. The XR4X4 runninggear track is very wide in considertion to the width of the arched Escort. When I did these wheels for the builder he originally wanted 15" 4 spoke split rim Revolutions but they are so outset it wasn't possible. The original builder/owner of the car came from Chesterfield so maybe he still owns her...nice to build a "keeper"....was..and hoefully still is a great car!!!!
1300 sport Posted December 14, 2006 Report Posted December 14, 2006 I think your wrong there,I remember talking to the guy who built it and I'm sure he said he was from Nuneaton. Cars a 1300E by the way.
