Retro-gone. Posted April 20, 2009 Author Report Posted April 20, 2009 one of my secret passions is finding old photos of my town and surrounding areas and going out and taking pics so i have the 'then and now' shots, do you want to see a few? to be honest i didnt think anyone had the same interest.

bigglesmk2 Posted April 20, 2009 Report Posted April 20, 2009 Competition time How many OSF can you see in this pic ?
emu Posted April 20, 2009 Report Posted April 20, 2009 I find old photographs really interesting. Especially seeing just how much places have changed and evolved. I have a couple of books here. One is about Portsmouth and the other is of Gosport. The author has taken a collection of old photographs and re-taken the scene from the same angle and elevation. Perhaps sounds a bit nerdy, but when the towns have both changed appearence and geography so much its really quite odd to see how they used to look.
Admin Mk2Jo Posted April 21, 2009 Admin Report Posted April 21, 2009 Now I know why you wear spectacles Emu and drive a pink car ... it has all become very clear now
