"i liked square front plate back then"

you couldn't tell :D

liking the old skool pics! gotta admit i do love that red one - looks spot on

I threw it together with bits out me garage  (appart from the wheels, they came off an RS500 another mate stuffed into a fence the day after he finished rebuilding it) :(

Then he ran it into the ground and we scrapped it, i still have bits off it

A few years later i built this for his younger brother from a bare shell when he turned 18.

Ok i know it aint OSF but it's still the best car i've ever built :P

I wrote the 2.3 GhiaS estate off on the M2 towing my GLS cortina back from Kent after i wrote that off on a diesel spill the week before on the same road

I had a wee brake from cortinas after that

The blue and white one got sold around a few mates then the shell started to crack around the B pillar and then finally he hit a new bit of extended curb on the Holloway road and wrote that off as well

I still have the C/L from that car  it origionaly came from a Mk2 granny that we stripped in a flooded breakers yard next to the river Lea  the whole yard was under 2 foot of water so we did all the work from the roof :D

Ah those were the days.

After the cortinas i had a break with a granada 2.8 GhiaX exec

Then i had this, Mk2 autosleeper, TC webber, tubular ex man, 5 speed conversion and a fridge ;)

Then started back into cortinas again, mind you i've missed out the 20 other non old fords i had along the way

I sold the autosleeper when i got the first Mk3 recovery truck, a few years back but then it's been a while since we caught up mate :D

A lampost

He hit it in just the right (or wronge) place, just on the indicator where the least amount of metal is

shame cos we'd just finished that car as well, if iremember correctly we had fitted leccy windows in the front, those boxes you screwed over the winder spline, mind you it was painted in a montego colour so we didn't mind too much

He got charged £150 to repair the lamp post as well  quite a lot back then
