iv done quite a bit to the old escort recently, in the quest for more power i bought a 1700 xflow and stripped the engine bay down primed and painted in some more cordoba beige 2 pack.

once that was dry i put the new 1700 in and began fitting the bias pedal box i bought so i had room for the twin 40's, plus it cleaned up the engine bay no end.

i also managed to paint my alloy rocker cover beige too which finishes off the bay a treat if you ask me.

i have also fitted some rear disks as i had the bias pedal box to fit i thought it would be rude not to. so with some recon sierra rear calipers, new pads, mk3 escort solid front discs and a pair of retromotorsports finest brackets i set to fitting them, im afraid i have no during pictures but it was quite simple really once i turned the shafts down i bolted them back in the axle and bolted the discs on. i then bolted the calipers to the brackets with the 22mm spacers and welded them on. then i made up the solid brake pipes and bolted the axle back under the car. next i took a sierra handbrake cable made a couple of brackets and bled it all up

thanks, it means a lot

the wilwoods are awesome, need cleaning quite regularly as they squeal but work superbly. one thing that gets very annoying is the pads moving and clicking when in stop start traffic
