I used to see that motor before i met mark parked outside a pub i drink in, in the summer with his mates red anglia, a few years ago. And thats what got me into wanting a mk1 cos it always caught my eye ps. so i can blame mark for my massive credit card bill

mex255l Posted April 20, 2006 Report Posted April 20, 2006 yeah it was a good day other than that nasty gearbox noise that we never sorted even after dan spent all night under the car pulling the gear box out(thanks mate).had a good few beers that night ! all didnt seem so bad untill we woke in the morning and remembered the box had to go back in great weekend though. i do remember you gazcos thanks for stopping.car should be ready for 1/4 mile at classic ford show cant find the time to run it in at the moment in the middle of moving house. i will post some pics of my next project mk1 cortina estate on 16inch rfx's any feed back would be appreciated!

Who knows what it was but we had a good day, even though it started about 7 am under the car, and you running about trying to get tools and stuff from the stands!
