Jimbob-Squarepants © Posted December 16, 2006 Report Posted December 16, 2006 Right then, I have my replacment engine for the Anglia. It is a 1300 Pre Crossflow which was removed from a 1967 Mk2 Cortina. I havn't been able to take pics yet, but I already have a question that needs answering. My Anglia is standard mechanically, so it has the solid linkage from the accelerator pedal to the carburettor. I have noticed that the carb on the 1300 engine seems to have been cable. Am I correct??? If so, what mods am I needing to carry out??? Can I just replace the quadrants to allow me to still use the solid linkage, or do I have to convert to cable??? As title says, any help will be appreciated. BTW, if pics are required, I will be taking some tomorrow, and I will place them here Cheers - Jim
