DangerDave80 Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 Hey folks Being a complete retro ford nut i thought it was about time i added another club to the list Im a member of Turbo sport and SOSE and both sites have been fantastic for advice and especially enthusiasm during my mk2 escort build And i actualy sold my Mk1 on Turbosport, much to my regret now! Iam a full time student at Telford College doing media design but my heart lies with cars as i worked for 10 whole years as a painter at Mercedes working on some prestige cars! I will start a restoration thread on my mk2 which i started last October but unfortunately i wont be working on it again for another couple months atleast due to a serious mountain bike accident which has left me with a collection of broken bones and a shit ton of physio to go through! cheers folks

It wasnt a mexico replica, It was vista orange and i thought putting the mexico stripes on it just made it look purty! It was a cracking car tho! wish i kept it
