Ade B Posted May 21, 2009 Report Posted May 21, 2009 Or should I say how much torque? Thinking of about 300BHP & 300Ib/ft or V8 goodness possibly. I've heard they're strong, but how strong? Mine's also welded so I would imagine the even distribution of power should help too.
Retromotorsport Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 relitive to grip.. equal and opposites and all that ... 300ft/lb through bicycle tyres and it will last a lifetime .. 300ft/lb through 10" slicks with full anti squat... still safe.... ish

JP. Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 Have 300bhp @ the wheels and no probs so far. Diff itself should be able to withstand 600bhp. Halfshafts depends on how much grip I'll geuss. It seems that standard halfshafts are the best & Quaife GP1 are no no's. Fostec seems to do decent halfshafts.
Ade B Posted May 22, 2009 Author Report Posted May 22, 2009 It's the Capri in my sig, mainly for drift use but really just every kind of hoolaginism possible Running various 15" rears including 9s, 8s and 7s. Not linked yet but will be getting a 5 link kit soon. I already bust a shaft before it was welded one drift day though
