i thinking a pair of lights like these, i saw this orange car a few weeks ago as i got my quarter bumpers off the chap who owns it for £50 as they had brackets bolted on for spots.

I think given the colour of the car, It'd look better without spots.

 

My opinion? Slam it hard on some 7inch rims and keep it clean & simple. Remove the rear spoiler and stick the original chrome bumpers back on! There's no need to always make an Escort into a rally replica to make it cool. You could appear guilty of trying too hard to make it look the part.

i've just been out and removed them, i like how they look but the rest of the car just doesn't work wth them.

 

They will be on ebay very soon.

Seven inch revolutions or minilights on 175/50's and a 2 inch drop should work well

i do like them but i need decent brackets etc to make them look decent, and i think i prob need to bigger wheels to make it look better.

 

in the mean time i will be taking off the lights and filling the holes in, i need to paint the rest of my chrome black and pull the other window chrome off,

 

i have booked it in for an MOT on friday, its no where near ready for one, and i might have to cancel it, as i don't really have much time to get it ready either.

i think if you put a set of covers on and square no.plate and angle the bottom ones out to the side it will look good

If you want to be different and need some extra lights, what we used to do back in the time that fashion was forgotten was to inset two slim spots into the grill, but dont do it to that grill, use and oval Ford one. You cut the circles in the grill and get some thin 1/2 wide plastic from a modelling shop, trim the cut hole so you have a solid ring round it by bending the strip around it and glueing into place, fit the spot in the hole and et-viola, twin headlamps ..
