last day at work today (redundancy) and i feel really emotional, im not one for blubbing like a girl but il be suprised if i get thro the day without a tear or two, specially when the girls in reception/office start crying which i know they will, im gonna really miss the team , fooking great lads and lasses.

wish me luck .

you don't need luck. you'll be fine!! :ykt: look upon it as a blank canvas, you'll get to hear about diffrent possibilities for work that you missed normally because you was in full time employment! very sad, i know, but all will be ok

Its a horrible feeling being made redundant. It happened to me 3 years ago after being there for 19 years .It was not a good feeling at all but as one door closed another one opened and i,m quite happy where i am now.I hope it works out the same for you.Good luck (not that you,ll need it). :)

thanks guys, feeling pretty good to be honest, wife has set me a million tasks around the house to keep me busy

but she'l have to wait till ive finished gutting and re-aranging my 4 workshops and garages lol..

ive got a few positive ides up my sleeve as far as work is concerned, 5 options to be honest, one of them is giving up work altogether to be a full time carer for Debs (wife) she has osteo athritis so cant function as well as you or i can.

anyway, thats just one option. whatever i do i intend to be happy :D
