capri.kid87 Posted June 16, 2009 Report Posted June 16, 2009 Hi so I'm new to this forum, been into old school ford since birth really both my dad and uncle build street rods and my mum has been known to drive / race a few yes plenty of times as a kid either parent would put the baseball cap wearing chavs to shame. Any way cars I've had: Bronze red MK1 escort 1300 XL automatic lowered 2" all round nothing else done though. Rosso re MK3 capri 2 litre laser, didnt do anything to that but did shunt it into a brand new golf over £1000 worth of damage to his car! Currently in MK3 black 2 litre laser, lowered 1" at rear 2" at front, straghit through exhaust with cherry bomb back box, big - ish sound system tinted windows, rear window louver fitted. Will be fitting an XR3i front bumper and turbo tail if can find one. I do have plans to play with the engine nothing big just a fast road cam kit, get the head reworked and get a set of bike carbs reworked for the engine. - but erm as most people now money is an issue with regards to the speed of progress. If someone could do an idiots guide for me I'd put some pics up. Ant
