mk1mexico Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 Is anybody interested in the Wimbledon Tournaments? I usually avoid it more than i do Big Brother, but this year iv got quite into it, think its because im on nights and theres fook all else on daytime TV to be fair. Anyhow, AndyMurray just got through to the Semi Final's in straight sets
Daggle Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 Yeh Im getting into it, just turned it on, as I didn't realise that Murray was on this early, seemed to cruise through. Still a miserable sod though , but then I suppose its better then the usual 'Plucky Brit' who goes to 5 sets each match and then looses in the semis. I hope that Hewitt gets knocked out, just to see the smile wiped off the crowd of Aussies that are supporting him each match
andy a Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 That Murrays a scots git, hates the English, he said so in some interview on tv so I wont be supporting him The womens tennis is better, almost worth watching
Jiffer Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 The womens tennis is better, almost worth watching Thumbs Up must agree, for years mens tennis was just a serve and that was it. with the ladies the rallies go on a bit longer.
pauln Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 I hope that Hewitt gets knocked out, just to see the smile wiped off the crowd of Aussies that are supporting him each match We have a shared wish that has just come true
trakevlyn Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 Dont talk to me about Wimbledon this is my 21st tournament working for the company who supply all the clothing for the shops in centre court and no1 court etc so ive been working silly hours in this heat and on average have to deliver twice a day. The only good thing is i get a pass so no queueing i can get in when i want and into a lot of places the public arnt and quite often bump into player/comentators
Daggle Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 That Murrays a scots git, hates the English, he said so in some interview on tv so I wont be supporting him There was a lot said about that but it was taken out of context, he has since taken it all back I hope that Hewitt gets knocked out, just to see the smile wiped off the crowd of Aussies that are supporting him each match We have a shared wish that has just come true YES! perfect! Just wish that they had shown the miserable supporters!!
andy a Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 There was a lot said about that but it was taken out of context, he has since taken it all back Thats a bit like the girl at school who kicked me in the spuds for trying to get me fingers around her burger in the dinner queue saying she as in the wrong, far too late
Mr Sam Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 That Murrays a scots git, hates the English, he said so in some interview on tv so I wont be supporting him The womens tennis is better, almost worth watching wonder why same with F1 lewis hamilton is english till he looses the title then hes british
4parajon Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 That Murrays a scots git, hates the English, he said so in some interview on tv so I wont be supporting him There was a lot said about that but it was taken out of context, he has since taken it all back I disagree there Daggle, I dont think it was taken out of context, thats what he honestly thinks, which is fair enough, he's entitled to his opinion. I think he only retracted it after his advisers realised he had dropped a major bollock. I wont/dont support him. I enjoy watching tennis, especially Wimbledon, and no I wont pretend that I dont enjoy watching the ladies more than the men either
Posse Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 I have never watched it before but i have to say Ive watched every match that Murray has play so far even tho i don't no how the fook to work out who's winning
