Anyone off to Goodwood this week-end for the Festival of Speed?

 

Looks like another fantastic week-end is planned I really must go again next year .... I have been 3 times before and it's the only place in the world that you can get to see the cars and the drivers up close

Each year they have a fantastic static display at the front of Goodwood House and this year it is this Audi "sculpture"

I'm going on Sunday. Have gone for the past 3 years and will go every time! Love it there! Best car show ever!

 

Alan Mann was there last year and he signed my Brochure! The XOO escort was driven by Sir John Whitmore. He was a wicked bloke and we chatted for a good 15 mins while he waiting at the line for his run!

The FOS is brilliant, get to see lots of stuff you wouldn't normally see! I marshalled there for about 6-7 years, fantastic event.

Im there on the sunday, the revival meeting later in the year is good, if not better

Never managed to make the revival, which is strange as I am a motorsport person at heart! Reckon you could be right about it being better, but they are different types of event!
