I did call in to Boxhill today but since the car park was full (full of nice things like Puddys Cortina) we decide to go for lunch and come back later. Get back in the car after and CLICK (bugger) it won't turn so we shove the car across the car park (no madam i'm not looking fowards to shoving the car on to the A25 to bump start it if we can find a gap either so fook off and leave me alone- you had to be there). Luckily while a nice man from the pub was going to get some jump leads the Cortina decided it had enough battery juice to turn over a couple of times and start (saved my wife walking 200 yards up the road to give me a gap signal - yes madam if you had asked thats what we were going to do I don't have a death wish). Get home and find the alternator lead has broken a quick recrimp and we are back on the road. It would have been nice to come back to box hill but i think we made the right decision heading for home before we ran out of battery juice.

mind you, if it had have happened at Boxhill I am sure you would have got plenty of help there.

i was thinking the same, when i used to do the landrover thing whenever there was a breakdown they were like bees round a honey pot, tools and people everywhere, you couldnt hardly get to your own motor and i'm sure it would be the same with OSF
