Just wanted to say on behalf of all the admin team a massive thank you for all who came with us today to Ford Fair

 

Weather held out and I even got a little bit burnt

just got back home, hard day, up at 5am to get there. Got a pass and had my car on the classic ford mag stand, and got to do 2 laps of the track with the huge convoy of capris, anglias and series 1s escorts.

 

I went to the osf stand in the afternoon but didnt see anyone off here that I know, bumped into Dave (cortinamad) when I got there.

 

Had a really good day, an excellent show

was a good day, shame there werent more OSF's but i know some people dont want to go as there is so much plastic but it is a show for all fords.

 

i had a few trips round the autojumble and saw a pair of front wings that i wanted, that was until the bloke said he wanted £450 for the pair so i didnt buy them

 

did anyone see the focus bin it into the tyres? made a right bang as me and my mate were over looking at the cars near to where it happened, then everyone rushed over to the fence. the driver got out alright and it was fully caged i think (rally style of car, new RS shape) although there were a few bits hanging off.

Yeah i expected more osf.

 

I have never seen so many Cossy,Focus,RS T and Ka in my whole life before

 

And every car had a Cossy engine

think i totally missed the Ka's, not that im complaining or anything but i think the only one i saw was on the track

aparently a steering joint broke at about 100mph so he lost his steering

 

a cossie rolled

I didn't realise how demanding the International circuit at Ford Fair was... Some big sweeping bends and difficult to judge the turning/braking points at high speed... I'm not surprised a few lose it each year
