Trevmk3 Posted August 3, 2009 Author Report Posted August 3, 2009 apparently the old doris is always walking it so i will see if she is doing the rounds tomorrow night its the second person i have seen doing this in 2 weeks, the other was near work at about 5:30 in the morning obviously trying not to be seen walking his cat

stevepeanut Posted August 3, 2009 Report Posted August 3, 2009 it might have aids cats can get cat-aids, my sister got one from a rescue centre with cat-aids, they might live 20 years, or they might live a week, no one can tell, depends when it kicks in but they have to be kept indoors, and if ever taken out, put on leads

stevepeanut Posted August 3, 2009 Report Posted August 3, 2009 the one time my sister put a lead on the cat, it was ok going down the stairs to the front door, as soon as it stepped outside it freaked out, jumping and spinning around and going in circles, off upstairs it went, and she never tried to take it out again I'm trying not to laugh here as I'm typing this but its a true story dunno what happened to the cat, she kept it for a few years, and returned it to the rescue centre when she moved
emu Posted August 3, 2009 Report Posted August 3, 2009 I put my cat on a lead once to see what happened It jumped straight up and over the garden fence However, the lead is only 5 foot long and the fence is 6 foot tall . So I had to hoist him back and disconnect him. He looked at me in disgust then ran upstairs in a cat-sulk.
