harris horse power Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 Had a brilliant day yesterday entering in the drag championship , was a bit slow to start with as i ran a few 14.0 and my terminal was down by 5mph at 99mph. But i managed to beat my pb of 13.3@104mph to 13.2@99mph. which was enough to win me 2nd in the osfdc. Was nice to speak to jo again and to meet some new people , also massive well done to KJ - well done and thanks for lending me your trophy
KJ 1320 Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 Nice to meet you Simon your car is superb m8 the trophy's at the back of the unit so you can't see the dent now m8!

HARRIS REAL DEAL Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 Well done on the new PB Thought the slicks would have got you more though.. Firstly well done simon brilliant son And the slicks fiesta steve done there job 1.9 60ft 13.2 compared to his last event 13.3 2.2 60 ft i also see a time ticket with a 1.8 60ft but simon missed a gear and done a 13.7 but cannot blame him for that im surprised he gets it in gear but after watching the video with simon we can see whats wrong with it and once its put right it should be good
Toby Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 Once again on another superb PB - well done mate - that Dave Edmunds time is getting closer!! I wonder what sort of times Dave would be running now if he still owned it.... You are going be the first x-flow fiester into the 12's
Toby Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 Well done on the new PB Thought the slicks would have got you more though.. Trouble is your MPH seems to disapear with your wheel spin. No doubt Andy will get him flying
harris horse power Posted August 11, 2009 Author Report Posted August 11, 2009 thanks everyone it was a brilliant day and i must say i liked kickin gaz's ass on one of our runs (shame about the 2 i lost ) daves time is getting closer toby , but its like you said it will be very hard.
Fiesta Steve Posted August 11, 2009 Report Posted August 11, 2009 Good 60' times didn't realise you had other problems. Glad to hear they work, now I know if they are worth trying
Fiesta Steve Posted August 11, 2009 Report Posted August 11, 2009 Just thinking, my best 60' was 2.2 with road tyres, so if slicks are worth upto .4, what could I have run with my old cast piston/244 set-up ???, shame I never got the chance to find out
MK2Ed Posted August 11, 2009 Report Posted August 11, 2009 Some wicked times there and sounds an excellent day - is good...
