What a day

Had a brilliant day yesterday entering in the drag championship , was a bit slow to start with as i ran a few 14.0 and my terminal was down by 5mph at 99mph. But i managed to beat my pb of 13.3@104mph to 13.2@99mph. which was enough to win me 2nd in the osfdc.

 

Was nice to speak to jo again and to meet some new people , also massive well done to KJ - well done and thanks for lending me your trophy

Oh, and I forgot to say that it was good to watch you and Gaz battling it out during the day - always good to have a bit of competition as it does give you the edge I reckon Again, well done ... all we need now is James to get to the next round

Firstly well done simon brilliant son

 

And the slicks fiesta steve done there job 1.9 60ft 13.2 compared to his last event 13.3 2.2 60 ft i also see a time ticket with a 1.8 60ft but simon missed a gear and done a 13.7 but cannot blame him for that im surprised he gets it in gear but after watching the video with simon we can see whats wrong with it and once its put right it should be good

Just thinking, my best 60' was 2.2 with road tyres, so if slicks are worth upto .4, what could I have run with my old cast piston/244 set-up ???, shame I never got the chance to find out

thats what i thought , if i had the 5mph more terminal that i had last time maybe id run much quiker , but unfortunatly i don think it works like that :

you need to hurry and get your car back out for a few rounds this year , it would be nice to have some competition as theres no other 13sec xflow fiesta out there.

Don't rush me
