Nikki Nix Posted August 18, 2009 Author Report Posted August 18, 2009 Ohhhh... it's very much going satin black, i dont do shiny, i know its not to everyones taste but it's gona be satin black with a skull and crossbones (not prominant, kinda dark gray smoked on the bonnet) ummm, lowered at the front and with hoosier tyres on the back, lol i now wait for the barrage of insults!! lol i know its kinda 80's or crap or however people see it but... I LIKE IT!! and thats what its all about right?! being yourself?? its still having body work lovingly welded by my brother at the moment, so the plan ma change but im pretty stubborn when i get an idea! thanks for the welcome guys xx anyone know of any mk3 cortina grills around? the plasticy ones?!

Nikki Nix Posted August 18, 2009 Author Report Posted August 18, 2009 Stu i think i actually just pissed my pants a little! it's like his and hers! haha! really nice to see your car, its pretty much my vision!! i orgionally saw mick rogers cortina at santa pod (and was distraught to stand and watch him barrel roll it ) and i fell in love with it straight away, i always wanted the chevvy out of death proof, so i wasnt gonna settle for anything much different! shame i could'nt find a two door though, they are that little bit cooler! i figure a four door with the skull and hoosiers is a pretty good mixture of everything that visually pleases me! lol cant wait to get her finished!!! really appreciate the spare parts offer, i'll send ya a message... thanks cant wait to spray it now! :

Nikki Nix Posted August 19, 2009 Author Report Posted August 19, 2009 I'm looking for one side of one of the plastic grills (they are in three pieces) and the strip of metal that loops around the glass of the headlight, ummm.. a pair of clean indicators cuz mine are grubby and chipped and a drivers side visor... thats all i can think of right now!! x

Nikki Nix Posted August 20, 2009 Author Report Posted August 20, 2009 Ahhahahahaha an old girlfriend!!! if it was... you could introduce her to caprinerd, seeing as how they look alike I'm havign a hard time with the wheel/tyre situation guys i really wanted hoosiers on the back but now its going all into having to change the axle and the handling being crap etc..?? how do i get the look of massive wide tyres without having to change it?? would jacking it up work to put on big tyres or would that look bad? can i use little rims and massive tyres?? how to i make the back tyres look bulgy and evil?? lol!! awhh?!?!?! I want it to look bad ass, but im getting drowned with options and dunno what to doooo??? help meeeeee!! how do u make a cars wheels look evil?! is it POSSIBLE even???? Thanks

Just get some wheels at least 7" wide & run lower profiles on the front. You can get stiffer standard height springs for the back & lowered springs for the front which will give it that nose down (arse up) look.
