If i make appointment with dvla to get my free tax disc how long would it take to get? or will i get it same day as i would be in their office.

 

What things would i need to take?

Reg document and proof of build date before 1/1/73 if it wasn't already registered by then, MOT and insurance cert. Oh and yes you get the disc across the counter if you're in one of their local offices.

Can i get disc if i dont want full time insurance? speical odd day car it is for now anyways.

You'll have to get a proper policy first to tax it then could cancel it? Wouldnt it be best to have limited miles classic policy so its insured parked up though.

Nah, its fine, just dont get no claims etc. I'd go limited miles and get at least 3p fire and theft, you dont want it getting nicked and loosing the lot.
