Took the MK1 out the garage to fuel it up for Blackpool tomorrow and noticed water coming out the water pump. Took it off and it looks like its leaking out of a hole in the bottom Cant be right can it Its not threaded or anything. Can't get another one today so looks like another show missed

if a water pump is leaking out the hole im sure that means the bearings or seals have gone and its knackered.

Yep, the hole is a tell tale and does indeed mean a replacement is due, bummer eh?

Well, the good news it that I've sourced another pump but not in time to fix it for tomorrow unfortunately. I will still be going to Blackpool as well as I blagged a lift there so not all bad
