dalmarshall Posted October 7, 2009 Author Report Posted October 7, 2009 Oh well, Ive been spending my first 3 days with the Gt wondering what i'm gonna do to make it my own and this was the plan 1. Lose the bonnet stripe 2. Get some 7x13 RS alloys and see how it looks (might need to be a bit lower or have mex wings to look right) 3. ??? 2 up 2 down cibies ?? Anyway thats right out the window for now cos i think the bottom ends gone. I initially thought it was just a bit tappety and needed setting up but now its so loud it scary to run it at all So, the plans gone belly up and I might need a rebuild first, or a new engine As soon as i get a chance i'm gonna get the top off and check cam followers , other than that I fear the worst. Any other ideas or suggestions would be grateful as i'm no mechanic but aint afraid of having a go myself. Fingers crossed for now and we'll see how it goes eh

Spent all i had buying the car and now i got engine probs and no money to fix at the mo. I think its a valve come un seated, at least its not the crank eh!!! Let me know about engine, might be worth a butchers!!
