Had to take my 55 plate peugeot back today again for the 5th time

now the bloody air bag light keeps comming up

 

so after a right moan at the counter I was told a guy would take me home and pick us up later when it was fixed

so a young guy was sent round in a pug to do the taxi bit

 

when I got in the car he spotted my OSF bomber jacket

and was telling me how he is helping his m8 to build a 105E van with a rover V8 & baby atlas ect going to use it up the pod

 

cheered me right up told him about us and the OSFDC

As Renault have just won the Formula 1 world championship again ,I would say maybe the French do know a bit more about cars than you give them credit.

Also as the Renaultsport Clio is always voted into the top 10 driving cars in all the motoring magazines , they must be doing something right .

Got to say the little pug HDI GTI is a blast to drive (for a FWD)

 

its a little pocket rocket 1.6 110bhp diesel It goes like fook

 

BUT

 

We bought it new in sep05

 

The ecu mounts came loose

 

The rear storage bins fell off

 

The seat runners would not lock in place so you was doing an impresion of the boat race not to bad for me @ 5'10" as when you drove away you shot back and when you breaked you shot forward

not fun for mrs ratman @ 5' when she pulled away she shot back both feet off the peddles

 

best bit it did it with out warning

 

now the airbag ecu has died but waithig for a new one

 

been given a 1.6 petrol 307 fooking horrid
