michael_200 Posted October 16, 2009 Report Posted October 16, 2009 anyone any good links for a guide on how to convert dynamo to an alternator, i thought i seen before on an rs2000 sith or avo site with a good guide to doing different bits and pieces like that, but cant find it anymore. many thanks michael!
Fishtailparka Posted October 16, 2009 Report Posted October 16, 2009 Very basic instructions Join the two thick wires together, cut the earth wire off altogether, then join the remaining two thin wires together. At the alternator, put the fat spade on a fat spade connector, put the thin spade on the thin spade connector. That is how you do it. (on a Mk1 Escort anyway)
Mad Mex Posted October 16, 2009 Report Posted October 16, 2009 a comprehensive guide can be found here http://www.oldskoolford.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=82162
