mk3cokebottle Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 cos its being used big time in a stupid scam , click on the link this is a photo bucket account the scammer sent me to look at the photos and underneath are the emails that he/she has sent me trying to get me to send more info and payment through ebay itself ..... just thought the owner should no what the crack is ... does anyone no if there is anything we can do to stop the tosspot i reprted him to ebay and the item has been removed but the car was advertised in farnham surrey which is on my doorstep would love ta meat the toss bag trust i would http://s607.photobucket.com/albums/tt15 ... 20POWERED/ Hello, Thank you for the email. As you can see in the pics the car is in excellent condition. I am selling it for £2150 including delivery. This is a low price but i need cash for a family emergency. I have to tell you that I'm currently out of town with some major problems so pick up/view isn't an option. If you want to buy this vehicle email me back with your full name and address to start the official procedure trough eBay. They will send you a notification with ALL the info regarding delivery, purchase protection and refund policy so please provide your details before more questions. You will find 90% of answers in that notification from eBay! Will wait to hear from you. Here are the pics: http://s607.photobucket.com/albums/tt15 ... 20POWERED/ Mike Here is a short review about how the transaction will be done: You send the payment to eBay. When payment is received, it will be verified and secured into a non-interest bearing trust account. After the payment is secured, the Seller is authorized to deliver the vehicle. The Seller has 3 business days to send the Buyer and eBay's Customer Support the delivery information. If no delivery information is provided in 3 business days, a full refund is immediately sent to the Buyer. The Buyer receives the vehicle and has 5 business days to inspect it. If it is complete and as described, the Buyer should accept the vehicle. If he refuses the vehicle, the Buyer must deliver the vehicle back to the Seller within 5 business days. After the inspection period is over, the Buyer must contact eBay's Customer Support with the result of the inspection. If the Buyer refuses the vehicle, the refund will be sent to the Buyer after the Seller has received his vehicle back. If the vehicle is accepted, eBay's Financial Department submits the payment directly to the Seller within 3 business days. ...so in conclusion you send the payment to ebay and after you inspect the car and confirm them that you want to keep it they will release the funds to me. I need to know if you want to buy it now. If yes I will need your name and address to register the deal with eBay since I have others interested. Mike any ideas??

DarrenM Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 Also wernt L reg shells using the later (more vertical) damper mounts? It's the change over point so you get both types of rear shock '72 to '73.

Takeshi Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 Its a scam, my friend equired about MK2 Jag that was for sale on PH bout 18 months ago, and the exact same answers were given when we equired about. The car was mega cheap, and went with the old saying, "Too good to be true". We later recived an e-mail from PH explaing the scam etc...
Gibson Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 Mate..... there is a website called 419 eater which sujests some very amusing ways to get back at these scammers. The scammers on there are so depserate for the money they will do nearly anything if they think it will make you pay up! "send me a picture of you with a fried egg on your head" Done! "that t shirt your wearing is too loud its offending my eyes. burn it and sned me photo evidence and il buy the car" done!
