It's just started last weekend I think. I didn't know Pod was on on Saturday - I thought it was on Sunday As you say - should be an interesting shake down.

I think Mr Little would like to be the fastest and I can't see why he can't be given the spec of the car. I hope he's first to the 11's - although if he does it on day one he'll be very disapointed - it will have ruined his hobby He is only having a shake down on his old engine so he's not expecting to set the world on fire - that's next season! Got some specials that im working on that will be revealed soon enough! Glad you are still hard at it mate! Would be cool to line up next to you again sporting a pushrod and race heads up!!! Those were some of my most enjoyable escort outing memories! that day at shakespeare when we just kept lining up!!! Got about 4 runs in 20minutes!!! Brilliant! Might have a nice xflow available to me soon! Would be a perfect candidate for a monster power Toby wooper!!! Lol just joking! Would be interested to see what Mr Little's new creation goes like though! When will we see you again anyways Toby??? One last thing, dip deep and make a donation for a really good cause! Naaa, my motor is going back to, should I say, a "less stripped out state" so we will be compatable! Plus any extra weight you carry will be cancelled out by the fact that your engine is like a 2087cc or something ridiculous like that Mine will be the same 1700 capacity that it was before (yes thats standard crank which means standard stroke with 83.5mm pistons!!! You do the math!!! LOL) Boxhill Saturday Toby???? And as for the Beard! It will never be a patch on my Dads (more like patchy!!!) but I will try my best! For sure there will be photos so Ill make sure that you get a looksy at them!!! Just make sure you donate, and like I said before, anything is better then nothing!!!

My 2.1 pre-crossflow (1924cc) and a bit of weight against a 1700 light car - Amazingly similar times for such different cars and engines I think if you'd stuck with it you'd have been knocking on the door of the 12.1 Maltese crossflow. I never will without a "diet." It's over to you and Joe Boxhill? Sounds like an idea but not sure of my plans yet.
Joe Little Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 whoa !!! its only a possibility that i will be at the Pod this sunday and only if we can cure a really irritating misfire, only going to try and set up the chassis and suspension, not for full passes or quick ETs as engine is only near standard 1700 XF. Hope to see a few faces if we make it.

Joe Little Posted October 31, 2009 Report Posted October 31, 2009 Well, i went to shakey today to see how the new car goes. dont think anyone has anything to worry about 25.4 @ 42 mph, i was well pleased we have a seriously irritating misfire, anything more than very light throttle under load an it dont want to know. when its not under load its perfectly ok, we tried everything we could to sort it but had no joy.
