LUKE261 Posted December 30, 2006 Report Posted December 30, 2006 vista rs im same as u mate, i dont use my anglia in the winter because of the salt on the roads ive got a w reg escort turbodiesel n use that 2 smoke about in, work n back etc and anglia is my toy if you like.
Admin Vista Posted December 30, 2006 Admin Report Posted December 30, 2006 Glad to hear I'm not the only one. My other reason is that the Escort isn't tax exempt but my other classic is. So the Escort retires for the winter, the Alfa gets thrashed on dry winter days and the French diesel tat does all the crappy jobs.
LUKE261 Posted December 30, 2006 Report Posted December 30, 2006 yea it may come out on an odd day when the roads are dry, otherwise sits in the garage all winter
CéDriC Posted December 30, 2006 Report Posted December 30, 2006 I'm never like the new car, even i've made some test (new beetle and ford Puma), but if you calculate the cost just when you take it from the car dealer, and the money spent each month to pay the mortgage, you could own a really good OSF... It's why i only have old car... The younger is the xr2i from 1989...
