bonkeye Posted November 7, 2009 Report Posted November 7, 2009 hi, im mark & from Bridgend south wales ive been wanting to get my hands dirty after i sold my last project car (citroen AX GTi with a saxo VTS engine) so i wanted a mk2 escort but they are crazy money so i settled for a fiesta so the hunt was on & after i was chatting to a mate he told me he know's of a mk1 fiesta going cheap so i poped round soon as i could, it seems ok but needs 2 new front wings & a new front panel & a few other bits, there is some serface rust as the car is 29 years old but nothing i dont mind having a go at i was planning ST 170 engine but its going to cost alittle more than the wife will let me spend lol so i'll settle for a zetec on bike carbs with either the ford ECS ?? not sure if thats whats it called or a megajolt ECU not to sure on a gear box might be a rs turbo box but depends on price inside will be stripped out with buckets, cage etc out side will be near OEM but will have a few changes not to sure what yeat but alloys off a capri might be on there like peper pots ot some 4 spokes if you have any wings, front panel or bonnet & is local to bridgend or in south wales i might be interested in them thanks for taking time to read this & any comments or tips will be welcome i will post up pics but until i have posted more than 10 times i can put any links from my photobucket account ut if i can another way please let me know thanks.
