JAY PS Posted November 23, 2009 Report Posted November 23, 2009 Met the bloke when i had my van done ,he said it was great but his first love is air cooled stuff and was finding it hard using it as a daily . Its not a bad car ,does have a lot of original bits on it and has had some money spent . If i remember it came from devon area where it had only low mileage from the beginning ,then geoff bought and modded it .Ratman would know more as i think he worked on it . That price seems very good as it doesnt need much ,or can be used as is
sampedlar06 Posted November 23, 2009 Author Report Posted November 23, 2009 thats what i wanted to hear 2nd person who has said its pretty mint. think im going to have to see him at the weekend to have a closer look..may well be on my way to my 1st OSF
w p e Posted November 23, 2009 Report Posted November 23, 2009 its not a bad car at all. we mot'ed it when geoff had it. i took the engine out and fitted a fast road cam in it. it as a 5 speed box. might still have the quick release steering wheel hud. it did have 40's then 45's but think they have gone now there was an electric fuel pump and regulator fitted by me. hope this helps
