pnwrs2000 Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 What's the crack with these - seem to be a few of them popping up on flea bay etc. Are they right or left hookers ? Obviously anything that starts with "Es" and ends with "cort" seems to be going for an absolute fortune at the moment so i thought, why not nip over to Malta and get one instead Has anyone got any idea of what's involved in terms of paperwork and import / shipping costs etc ?
Admin Mk2Jo Posted November 24, 2009 Admin Report Posted November 24, 2009 They are all right hand drive and there are some lovely ones out there .... you can go and buy as long as you can afford to ship one back The people that are buying them are bringing them back in bulk on a trailer which is cheaper All you gotta do is register them over here and the job's done If you just want to ship one car over it could cost you £500-£700 ish to get it back. They are cheap to buy but the Maltese are getting wise to it ... still plenty of bargains to be had.

Andrade Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 *Reads the thread and goes goes away as he thinks British people will take all the classics away and the only classic four wheel vehicles that will be left are marinas*
Admin Mk2Jo Posted November 24, 2009 Admin Report Posted November 24, 2009 *Reads the thread and goes goes away as he thinks British people will take all the classics away and the only classic four wheel vehicles that will be left are marinas* I have to say, I do feel sorry for the Maltese people as they are not getting the amounts for the cars that they are worth
pnwrs2000 Posted November 24, 2009 Author Report Posted November 24, 2009 I agree with what your saying Mk2Jo but on the flip side, its only because these cars are getting so bloody expensive over here and dare i say it, not always worth the money IMHO, that people look to get a better deal from elsewhere
