jetthedog Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 hi everyone, i recently decided to change my vehicle for something that was real cool from the days of my youth but could never afford to buy/run/insure! anyway i have ended up with a 3.0 1977 granada coupe, when i first picked it up i noticed the weather strip/chrome trim thing was loose, today at work i went to refit the aforementioned trim and its fallen off on my journey! no problem i thought, i'll get on t'web and buy another, how naive of me, you cant get these from halfords, anybody know of anywhere i might source such an item please? and any other usefull websites, addresses, phone numbers etc? please have pity on me
over_head_cam Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 Welcome to OSF m8. A lot of us are reliving a bit of our youth here too Keep an eye on the classifieds (halfway down the front page of the forum) and maybe put a wanted post in there. Have you googled for owners clubs? There must be some out there

lotusless Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 welcome to the site m8, i think the best place for your trim strip + any other bits you need is the banger racing forums! they seem to have lots of this type of car hanging around + lots of bits too just google ovalchat or as allready said the granada clubs
lotusless Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 try this forum too you will have to register first though but they have a mk1 + 2 room + on the stav post a guy has coupe bits http://www.granada-and-scorpio-online.c ... forumid=11
spike105e Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 Hello and welcome, I wonder how many of us got into old Fords for the same reason? I tried many times as a spotty teenager to mod Anglia's, Cortina's, Escorts etc but with no garage/skills/money they all ended up down the scrap yard. If only i had kept them all till now!! Good luck with the Grannie.
