They were, in other words, wolves in sheep's clothing. "Such vessels were christened Q-ships - and in future years the same sort of description was applied to any machine that delivered more than it promised. A Q-car, therefore, is a car that is faster and more capable than it looks."

G.O Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 I can remember talking to Jeff Uren at Symonds Yat many years ago, where he described his Savage Cortinas as the ultimate Q cars. I guess he was just a bit biased though Simon - I'd love to have a proper copy of the the Lotus Cortina pics from the same article. I'm guessing the current owner of CTC 16E would too thinking about it!. Would that be possible mate?

johnyboy Posted December 18, 2009 Report Posted December 18, 2009 I am very disappointed with the year planner in this years mag.I am sitting looking at last years on my wall and its great for filling in rallies through the year and looking at the whole years events at a glance .This years is useless as there is no space to write anything.Its not a planner but a calendar with photo's. I hope you revert to a planner again next year John
