having a fudge load of fun in some rapid jap crap as its affectionately know here :thumbsup:

 

sort of glad to see the back of the tina but miss its quirks and looks and noise :ykt:

 

but ive had a couple of great cars

first was a 200

spec list as long as your arm for 300 pounds more than i sold the cortina, cant moan at that really

 

stage 2 tune so should be seeing 300brake but ive not had it RR'd

95k iirc on sr20det, does have vvt rattle but fine when ur driving , just noisey sometimes on idle

Have just fitted a decat pipe so it sounds amazing.

Just got a years mot on it And 6 months tax on it as well

also fitted 2 new jbl speakers up front and an all singing hong kong DVD touch screen head unit with tv and mp3 Avi 's etc etc.

Ummm tomorrow I'm fitting 2 new falken tyres 120 quids worth.

Strut braces front and rear.

Hid's have been fitted with led side lights and clear side repaters.

Just fitted an s15 clutch to handle the power.

 

 

 

had a load of fun with that but had the urge for a car ive always loved since i was about 13 the toyota corolla ae86

 

so i went out and swapped the 200 for one and i love it

car has changed a little, now has buckets and all white floor, but its 130 brake with a shed load of toys and im chuffed

niel jelousy is a terrible thing :mrgreen:

 

the corolla is great, you know they came 4 bar linked and with a slipper as standard in 1985, also air con elec windows mirrors and digi dash, i love it

 

and it s crazy but these cars make good 2 door escort money, would prob get 5k for this no prob :wink:

Ae86 shell seem welded 1985 steel wide arches at rear 4" and 2" front (standard) all hole welded in for strength

 

Coolkits body kit in silver (cost me £540) widened rear bumper to match the arches,skirts trimmed to fit.

 

Wheels are 15x7.5 front with 185 50 15 goodyear tyres 5mm tread

 

15x10 rears with 205 50 15 nexon tyres new (look the dogs)

 

Also have x2 15x10" steel banded wheels for track use fitted with yokohamas 205 50 15

 

if the buyer requires them

 

8 degree steering lock kit (gives you more angle of steer)

know where a minty kp61 starlet is, just need to get the bloke to sell it :sad:

Cant beat a high power, top spec jap car. Probs the best rwd car I owned was a e30 325i beemer, much better allround than my capris

theres a huge amount of sections on this site, for all kinds of osfs, sales, wants, drag racing etc. Chit chat is for anything else, theres a lot of us have showed off our different cars, bikes, trucks and everyones been cool with it

for me a fun car is a fun car , and ive been out in nice cheap bmw's and your right there amazing for what you pay, and they will go all day cause there german

i absolutely loved the car and if i had a garage id still have it and it would have the xe i bought for it sitting in it

 

 

Prefer the AE86 but the red one looks ok, just like a bit of squareness :mrgreen:

not keen on the interior,(never liked jap cars inside)but love how the AE86 sits,looks a bit of a beast.i love all old boxy cars,just have a soft spot for fords.nice cars. :thumbsup:
