DAZZA Posted December 29, 2009 Report Posted December 29, 2009 Just a few lines to say that my wifes cousin Rob died last week of Meningitis aged 37. Rob was an avid observer of OSF just flicking through threads daily but was never one for any real interaction. He read all the mags and really fancied building something, but a little conservative like a Mk5 Tina or Mk2 Granny, as he'd had back in the day. Unfortunately he never got there. He loved Boxhill & the Brands track days, some of you may have seen a big green Ford Explorer tucked away in the corner with a camera lens poking out the window, that was Rob, always on the outer edge of things! I suggested to his wife Corinna that Rob loved photographing convoys, especially the OSF London to Brighton, ive put the word out to try and get a few OSF's in the funeral procession for 12th jan. It'll be in the Sidcup area. I think Rob would have loved this. Wont take to much time, just to attend the crematorium in convoy, have a much appreciated handshake from me, before the family go in for the service. Ill put up exact details when I know them Thanks for taking time to read.
